Every Dreamscope is a one of a kind,
high end gallery work of art that combines beautiful artfulness with
bewitching engineering. Each unique scope is lovingly hand sculpted
in clay and cured before patinas or colors are added, a process that
is repeated many times before completion. Some of these works of art
are actually sculpted in hand-blended colored clay to attain hues
that seem to glow from within. Choices abound from sophisticated to
romantic and all of the tiny animals are sculpted with hand set glass
eyes that seem follow one with their gaze. Double Dragons
Double Dragons...This fascinating scope is the fourteenth in a continuing series and the 1st two person scope in the Dreamscope collection. Three months in the making this unique kaleidoscope presented a huge challenge for Jacqui in both art and engineering. And who is this Cat? This Cat is the Sun God Ra himself". The passage itself is engraved on the bottom of the kaleidoscope stand. Pup The third in a continuing series, was inspired by a little Mexicali charmer named Rocky. This Dreamscope has a Mexican/California look to honor Rocky’s heritage and depicts him as a puppy. Simulated copper verdigris and antique copper fittings bring added interest to this unique piece. Oriental Crane The fourth in a continuing series and the first upright Dreamscope is a study in color beginning with an intriguing background created with combined intense colors using ink washes. Bas relief method of sculpting was used for the oriental crane and the lovely water lilies and leaves that adorn the scope and the base. Metallic gold clay underlies and gently shimmers through the soft applications of pale tints. series featuring the tiger and was created to honor one of the most
magnificent animals on the face of this good earth. This Dreamscope
features a wonderful tiger resting on a fallen sun dappled pillar.
Simulated tiger eye and black onyx serve to accentuate the beauty
