Jacqueline Bardner Smith began her career painting and teaching art at local studios in New Jersey. Needing to expand her horizons she enrolled at the prestigious Philadelphia College of Art and immersed herself in learning the art of children's book illustration. She went on to illustrate children's books for some of the most prominent publishers in New York including Davey Come Home with Harper & Row (AKA Harper-Collins), Gorilla Wants To Be The Baby with Atheneum, and Noisy Cow and Billy Goats Gruff with Grosset & Dunlap. Life took
a fascinating turn when she was commissioned by Franklin Mint to sculpt
two tiny bunnies to be cast in pewter. She had found her true calling
and thus went on to design and sculpt a wide variety of loved and
sought after figurine, doll, and jewelry collections world wide. While
her work spans many years and products, she is best known for Woodland
Surprises with Franklin Mint, Teddy And Tiny Tots with Lenox, and
Snuggle Babies, Natures Little Cherubs and Seeing Spots with Hamilton
Collections. Jacqui is a proud member of the Brewster Kaleidoscope Society.

emerges when one views these sun lit works of art that are thought

systems but admits the simplicity of the 2 mirror image continues
to excite her. She gives a lot of attention to choosing bits and pieces
